Eric Seagroves is the Design Manager for Stewart Engineers, where he manages design staff and design projects and oversees design-related procurement.
Eric joined Stewart Engineers in 2011 as a Senior Designer and was promoted to Design Manger in 2013. In this capacity he supervises the output of Stewart Engineers’ CAD (Computer-aided Design) team. Eric has completed the rendering of all Stewart Engineers’ float glass manufacturing facility designs into 3-D, significantly improving engineering efficiency. EcoMelt® Furnace design alone consists of over 6000 drawings, customized for each project and are unique to each site conditions.
Eric is a Senior Mechanical Designer with more than 30+ years of progressive experience specializing in project team supervision and machine and mechanical design. He started his career as a Mechanical Draftsman. Prior to joining Stewart Engineers, Eric worked for Buhler for more than 20 years as a Senior Mechanical Designer of industrial process dryers and oven equipment.
Principle Mechanical Designer of capital equipment, Creo Parametric/Pro Engineer CAD/CAM software (20+ years of experience), SolidWorks CAD 2000 thru 2020, AutoCAD software (25+ years of experience), Microstation, Windchill PDMLink and Pro/INTRALINK, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Certification and Keyshot 8-Rendering/Animation software.
