In a typical CVD process, the glass (substrate) is exposed to one or more volatile precursors, which react and/or decompose on the substrate surface to produce the desired deposit.
The AcuraCoat® On-Line Pyrolytic Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) System is an on-line coating technology integrated directly into the float glass manufacturing process. It can apply Reflective, Low E, Solar Control and Photovoltaic hard coatings. AcuraCoat® CVD technology is specifically designed to produce energy efficient pyrolytic coated glass products, such as, Reflective, Low E, Solar Control, and Photovoltaic.
The AcuraCoat® system is integrated directly into the narrow end of the float bath furnace through one of its sides.
